Hello!
My name is Madison Johnson and I am going into my fourth year here at Colorado State University. I am studying Art Education with a concentration in ceramics, and I plan to graduate from CSU with a K-12 Art Teaching degree!
Ever since I was a child the world of art has fascinated me. Growing up I was mainly inspired by my grandmother, who is also a K-12 Art Teacher. After seeing how passionate she was about teaching her students made me want to follow in her footsteps. I strongly believe that art can be seen and used in every subject, which is what makes it so fantastic!
I grew up in a small town in Colorado and I love doing all sorts of outdoor activities in my free time like hiking, snowboarding, traveling, camping, and many more!
Art is such a creative subject that can be found everywhere in the world around us, which is why I couldn't be more excited to teach students the joys of creating artwork!
